With his debut single, released on Strawberry Moon Records, musician RICHS, of Wolverhampton

Richard Meredith – whose stage name is RICHS – has brought out 'See My Vision' on Wolverhampton-based Strawberry Moon Records.

The former Codsall High Pupil, who set up the RSM Stage Academy, is hoping to make his mark in the music world.

The single is described as 'an up-tempo, airy summer dance track'.

A video for the track – which has not yet been released – was directed and produced by Benjamin Harrap, who has previously worked with rocker Jake Bugg.

The single is available on iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon, HMV and Spotify.

Meredith, who left school in 2003, is no stranger to training with some of the world’s best performers.

After auditioning for theatre school, he was offered a full scholarship to train on a three year musical theatre course under the guidance of the Trinity College, London.

After this, he appeared in variety shows in London’s West End and at Saddlers Well’s Theatre, played the lead role in 80s Mania at Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre and across the UK and also appeared on TV’s Pineapple Dance Studio.

After a successful audition on this last show, he travelled to Spain for eight months to star in hit musical We Will Rock You.

When not performing on stage, he has also featured on TV shows Doctors, Casualty and Hustle.
