Victorian Steampunk event brings in the crowds at a Sandwell museum
A time travelling quest took visitors to a Cradley Heath museum back to the Victoria days, with an unique twist.
Haden Hill House created an afternoon of fun for all the family with its Victorian 'steampunk' event.
Visitors were able to look at the Steampunk penny farthing and its rider, enjoy side shows and games and play croquet on the lawn.
There was also a small steampunk exhibition inside the house.
Staff set up a Victorian photo area for people to get dressed up and take their own photos of themselves as Victorians.
The event took place on Sunday from 12 noon to 4pm.
The tearoom was also open for delicious cakes and drinks courtesy of the Friends and volunteers group.
Steampunk is a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology. It has spawned a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features.
Councillor Richard Marshall, Sandwell Council's cabinet member for leisure, said: "The staff at Haden Hill House always have a wide range of activities throughout the summer and this event is one that will have something for all the family.
"I would encourage local people to go along and enjoy themselves and take a chance to look around the museum and and enjoy the park around this great house."
