The Great British Food Festival will be held at Weston Park, from May 27 to 29.

The chef demonstration stage will welcome former Great British Bake Off stars Ali Imdad, Howard Middleton, and Luis Troyano.

Bakers are also invited to take part in a cake-off.

The cake-off is a popular part of the festival, where amateur bakers go head-to-head to win a prize from Kenwood.

The event will also feature a variety of foodie talks and live music over the three days.

Dan Maycock, festival director, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the great chefs at this year’s event.

“The cake-off competition is great fun, it’s fantastic to see the public entries and what they can do.”

An artisan food market with more than 70 stalls, food challenges and competitions, children’s entertainment and food demonstrations are also among the attractions.

Entry will include the park, gardens and food festival. Tickets are between £5 - £8, with family tickets at £25 and free entry for under-fives. For a further £3, visitors can also gain entry to the house. Gates open at 10am.
