Jazz and blues festival heading to Lichfield
Visitors to a Staffordshire music festival can look forward to a feast of jazz performed local, regional and national favourites.
The Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival is taking place from June 2 to 4 across the historic city.
Opening the jazz programme on the first day at the George Hotel are the Lichfield Jazz All Stars – made up of young musicians and city favourites who promise a mixture of humour and jazz.
Saturday June 3 will see the launch of the festival’s novel Pop Up Blues and Jazz Stage from 3pm at Lichfield’s popular city centre music venue, George 1V.
And on the Sunday, a day of swing music from the 20s to the 60s will be performed bands from across the UK.
