Revolution bar proposed for Stafford
Plans for a £1 million Revolution vodka bar in Stafford are set to be approved.

The proposal, which will transform the old Litten Tree at Riverside, would create dozens of jobs.
The Manchester-based bar chain submitted the bid in December. Now, development officers on Stafford Borough Council have recommended it be approved when it is tabled before the planning committee on Wednesday.

The exact proposal seeks to extend the the bar from the Litten Tree into the unit next door – which used to be part of Jades clothing shop. Seating areas would also be installed outside the front of the new bar.
A planning report states:
"The re-use of the unit would contribute to the vitality of the area and the river frontage."

The Litten Tree closed down back in 2012. Councillor Christine Baron, who represents the area and had often visited the venue for lunches, said it had been missed in the town since and welcomed the fact the property would be brought back into use.
