Jason Donovan's g'day to slimming leaders
Slimmers from the Black Country and Staffordshire said g'day to Aussie heart-throb Jason Donovan when they rubbed shoulders with the performer at an awards event.

Members of Slimming World groups in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and Sandwell cosied up to the ex-Neighbours star, who was presenting the company's annual awards at Birmingham International Convention Centre.
Group leaders Linda Spray, from Wolverhampton, Helen Dean, from Staffordshire and Vinny Johnson, from Sandwell, were among those who enjoyed a moment with the actor and singer.
There may be too many broken hearts in the world, but Ms Spray's wasn't one of them when she got to cuddle up to the showbiz legend.
She said: "I felt very honoured to represent all of the Slimming World groups in Wolverhampton when I met Jason.
"I couldn't be prouder of all of the members in Wolverhampton. They've lost fantastic amounts of weight throughout 2015, with many of them making their weight loss dreams come true by hitting their target weight, improving their health and more.
"It's so rewarding to see people being able to do things that they didn't think possible before losing weight, whether that's wearing smaller clothes, taking up new hobbies, reducing medication or being able to do more with their family and friends. Every week I feel so lucky to play even a small part in people's achievements. Now I feel incredibly motivated and I can't wait to support more people to lead healthier, happier lives in 2016."
Sandwell consultant Vinny Johnson admitted she didn't know who Mr Donovan was, but her was showered with hugs and kisses from other members from her area.
She said: "I didn't even know who he was, but he is lovely. He's very nice. All the other ladies who liked him were there giving him hugs and kisses. y slimmers have done amazing this year, there have been some incredible weight losses."
Donovan, who is renowned for his stint on Ramsey Street, said: "I met lots of people who've lost incredible amounts of weight and it has completely changed their lives – in fact, it's saved their lives in some cases."
