Simply Red in Chase concert
Simply Red will be performing on Cannock Chase next year as part of a nationwide tour.
The June 25 appearance is part of the Forest Concerts For 2010, organised by the Forestry Commission.
Simply Red has been one of the most popular bands of the past 25 years and will play at a number of woodland locations nationwide.
Mick Hucknall, lead singer of Simply Red said: "As we had such fun performing a solo forest show at Westonbirt Arboretum this year, we decided it would be great to play all the forest concert venues around the country in 2010.
"It is a fantastic experience for a band to play in these unique settings".
This year's concerts in Cannock Forest featured Paul Weller and Sugababes. The concert by the Modfather at the end of June sold out in just a few weeks.
