Its parent company West Bromwich-based Boparan Holdings has reported total sales of £626.5 million for the 13 weeks up until the end of January.
However, profits were hit by the falling pound and the impact of restructuring costs across the group.
The firm, which also has bases in Heath Town, Wolverhampton, and Smethwick, has also warned it fears a fall in sales of ready meals with a beef content in the wake of the horsemeat scandal.
Earlier this month the growing group announced that it was creating 500 jobs, mainly in the Black Country, following a surge in poultry orders coming from supermarkets.
