Police descend on West Bromwich high street after 'shooting'
Police have descended on a high street following a shooting on Thursday morning.

West Midlands Police said they are appealing for witnesses after a shooting on West Bromwich High Street.
A spokesperson said it’s believed a vehicle was shot at, near the junction with Trinity Way, at around 11.35am.
A short time later, a man in his 20s arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound.
He remains in a serious condition this afternoon.
Officers remain at the scene this afternoon carrying out enquiries, and patrols are being stepped up to offer reassurance.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
