Family of Wolverhampton murder victim Shawn Seesahai feel 'justice is served' as killers' sentences increased
The family of Shawn Seesahai have welcomed the increased sentences handed down to two teenage boys who murdered their "beloved son".

They spoke after two 13-year-olds, who can't be named, had the minimum terms of their life sentence increased at the Court of Appeal this morning for the murder of the 19-year-old at Stowlawn Playing Fields, Wolverhampton on November 13 last year.
The two were aged 12 at the time of the killing and became the youngest defendants convicted of the crime in the UK since Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, both aged 11, were found guilty in 1993 of murdering two-year-old James Bulger.
They were originally given life sentences with minimum terms of eight-and-a half-years but this was increased to ten at the Court of Appeal this morning (December 19). It means the youths will spend nine years and 60 days behind bars because of time already served.
